BMC is currently available for private events on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, starting at 6:30 or 7 PM. Our café offers seating for 40 people inside (tables, booths, and bar). The space can hold up to 60 people maximum. Outside seating is available, but it is not protected from weather elements.

Group Experiences

College of

Our chocolate makers will provide a guided tasting and exploration into the art of making chocolate. Enjoy 6 to 8 samples of premium chocolate from around the world. Add wine to this package to make it pairing experience. Limited to groups of 10 to 25 people.


Our pastry chefs will craft three delicious desserts carefully paired with three wines or spirits. Guests will be served three personal-portions of a BMC-selected dessert, each with a complementing wine or spirit. Limited to groups of 10 to 25 people, 21+ only.


Our mixologists will curate a tasting experience based off your spirit of interest. We will provide a flight of 6 premium spirit samples, then demo the crafting of 3 cocktails with that base spirit for guests to enjoy. Limited to groups of 10 to 25 people, 21+ only.

Options include an assortment of mini chocolate chunk cookies, brownies, blondies, s’mores chess tarts, salted caramel tarts, assorted truffles and seasonal treats.


A delicious array of savory meats, cheese, nuts, fruit, and crackers.  Charcuterie can be served on a board buffet-style or packaged in an individual box for each guest.

Savory Puffs

Delicious croissants packed with house pimento cheese or veggie-hummus. About three bites per puff. Minimum of 20 puffs per order.

Drip Coffee: We offer caffeinated and decaf, served in an airpot, along with condiments

Drinking Chocolate: Served in airport, with the option of whole, oat or almond milk, and includes homemade marshmallows

+ With advance arrangement, for groups of 10 or more, we can offer a full cocktail bar staffed by our mixologist. We can also offer wine or beer (either with or instead of cocktails).

+ The bar can operate as a cash bar with guest payment, or you as the organizer can pay. If the organizer will pay, we can provide “drink tickets” to attendees so you can manage your cost.

Can I plan a private event on a Friday or Saturday?

We prefer to remain open to the public on the weekends, to ensure all visitors can enjoy a trip to the makery during their stay in Winston-Salem. We generally schedule private events starting at 6:30 or 7 PM on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

What types of events can BMC accommodate?

Our café space is perfect for parties and mixers. It would not be good for larger presentations or meeting formats. We don’t have additional chairs or audio-visual equipment.

How much will it cost to host my event?

Pricing is a la carte based on the options presented above. The minimum charge for private events is $10/pp or $500 total, whichever is more. All event costs are to be paid by credit card via Square.

How many people can we host at BMC?

How long can I host an event at BMC?

Standard event time is one and a half hours, with time allotted for set up and take down. Additional time can be built-in as needed, based on availability.

How can I reserve my date and make payment?

Complete the form below to see if your date of interest is available and to get a formal quote. Once confirmed, an invoice will be sent via email. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
